Dog Training Classes

Balanced Canine offers a wide range of training classes for your dogs specific abilities and level. Rally Obedience Coming Soon! All classes are held at Elemental Canine, 5723 176 Street, Surrey (Cloverdale)

We do keep waiting lists for classes that are full. Because classes are in high demand, payments must be received ONE WEEK PRIOR to the starting date. Any spaces not reserved at that time will be made available to the waiting list.

This course will teach you the training skills needed to communicate to your puppy effectively and efficiently. We cover all your burning puppy questions, everything from housetraining, mouthing, barking, crating and so much more! We also teach all the Puppy Obedience skills your Puppy will need for life, coming when called, how to get attention and focus, how to safely socialize with humans & dogs and so much more. We are not a ‘free for all’ Puppy class, we provide a safe, social, fun working environment for you and your puppy!

This course is a must for your newest family member.

This class is perfect for the adolescent dog! In this class we will work on loose leash walking, coming when called, sit & down stay, Interactive owner & dog bonding skills, working through life’s distractions and learning to have a polite, well mannered dog, no matter what is happening around them!

Ages: 6 months +

Intermediate Obedience: Pre-req is Puppy K. and/or Basics

Intermediate Obedience is for those who want that really well behaved family pet that is well trained and has excellent manner inside and outside of the home. We start to bridge on leash to off leash and get that reliable obedience and manners everyone strives for. We will cover the start of off leash heeling, off leash coming when called (with heavy distractions), long sits and downs off leash with distance and time duration and lots of fun, but still taking our training exercises, seriously!

Advanced Obedience: Pre-req is Intermediate

Advanced Obedience is off leash as much as our dogs can be, safely. This course is for those who want their dog mainly off leash in safe places with reliable obedience. We work on off leash heeling, Recalling and formal obedience, manners work and more. We only offer this course four times a year, so it fills up quickly!
